Update: Masked, Armed Robber Caught In Lowell: Police

Lowell police announced that Nesuh Gebrechristos had been arrested in a Tweet posted on March 20.

A warrant has been issued for a bank robbery suspect dashed from the scene before police could arrive, according to officials. 

A bank of Bridge Street in Lowell was robbed on Tuesday, Jan. 31, the Lowell Police Department announced on Monday, Feb. 6. The suspect, who police have named as 38-year-old Nesuh Gebrechristos, ran away from the bank before cops could arrive. 

A warrant has been issued for Gebrechristos, who police say is listed as being without housing, for masked armed robbery and threats to commit a crime. 

Lowell police request that anyone with information regarding Gebrechristos's whereabouts contact the department at (978) 937-3200.
